This is usually because the "Filter by trap volume" minimum values shown on the Filter Traps page in TrapViewer are set to larger values than the HC volumes in the picked trap. The trap is therefore filtered out and the plots do not update.
The solution here is to set both the Minimum oil and gas fields to zero before picking a trap in the 3dview.
