How to I connect trap ID’s in the trap table with where they actually are on the map?

One way to show the Trap names or IDs is to save the table to a csv file (the blue save icon in your snapshot) and then load this file into Basemaps section in the project workspace tree (use the Import as points… option).

Another way is to plot Results/Traps/TrapID (as you have done) and then zoom in on a particular trap id by setting More Contour range options/Specify range from the RMB menu in the 3d view.

A third method is to pick one or more traps in the 3dview and select the “Add trap” option from the RMB menu. This will show the trap geometries with the trap name posted as blue labels.
